Physical Therapist — Running &/or Cycling Specialist

Precision Physical Therapy | Clayton, MO

Build your career around the work you love.

If running and/or cycling are a big part of your life and you wish you could spend more of your clinical day working with endurance athletes, this role was built for that.

A significant portion of your caseload will be runners or cyclists, from everyday athletes and high school runners to marathoners, trail runners, triathletes, and competitive cyclists.

We’re looking for a physical therapist with a foundation in movement assessment and running and/or cycling analysis who wants to keep developing their expertise. You don’t need to specialize in both. You should understand the sport you love, enjoy working with the people who do it, and be excited to become an exceptional clinician for that population.

You’ll have direct mentorship, continuing education support, regular clinical collaboration, and a patient population that gives you plenty of opportunity to put that learning into practice.

About Precision

Precision Physical Therapy is an independent, private-pay physical therapy practice in Clayton, Missouri.

We help active people move better, stay active, and keep doing what they love. Our patients include runners, cyclists, athletes, and everyday active adults across a range of ages, abilities, and goals.

Our approach is grounded in movement assessment, clinical reasoning, and individualized care. We want our clinicians to have the time to understand how someone moves, determine what needs to change, and build a plan that helps them get where they want to go.

An environment built for great clinical work

Time to provide thoughtful care.
Every visit is 60 minutes, one-on-one. You’ll have time to assess movement thoroughly, explain what you’re seeing, answer questions, and provide individualized care. A full caseload is approximately 32 patients per week.

A caseload built around athletes you understand.
You’ll work regularly with runners and cyclists across different distances, disciplines, experience levels, and goals.

Grow into the specialist you want to become.
Bring a foundation in movement assessment and running and/or cycling analysis. We’ll support your continued development through direct mentorship, clinical collaboration, and continuing education.

See athletes through the full process.
From pain and early rehabilitation through strength, return to training, and performance, you’ll have the time, equipment, and clinical support to help patients get back to what they love.

A team that learns together.
We regularly talk through cases, challenge each other’s thinking, and continue developing our skills as clinicians.
